Born in Media, PA. 1979. Grew up in south Florida in the shadow of the Cold War & the Nasa program. This upbringing gave him many ideas about fear and mentality that eventually directed

him toward the fine arts. Received BFA in painting from SCAD inn 2005 and MFA in painting in 2010. Kofke taught letterpress techniques at Atlanta Printmaker’s Studio and recently returned from a year as visiting scholar at China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, China. After the Living Walls Conference, Kofke will move to Japan for additional artist residency opportunities.
