Living Walls and Streetela are pleased to announce the second volume of Living Walls Concepts with Berlin-based, American artist Brad Downey.
For the first time Atlanta can say “Brad Downey was here,” as his famous signature states. With an emphasis on spontaneity and disorder, Downey creates powerful urban interventions that last anywhere from two seconds to indefinitely.
Downey will present an artist talk featuring twelve short films on Wednesday, January 11th at 7:00 pm at 1037 Monroe Drive NE in Atlanta. In addition, he will present his new book Spontaneous Sculptures.
“For me, building or breaking is the same,” states Downey. His approach to challenge the world of street art by taking back public space in amusing and innovative ways marks Downey as one of the most audacious artists of our time.
Living Walls and Streetela invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening. This event is free and open to the public – donations will be accepted at the door.
